Is Auria 2.18 working for everyone?
Sorry to start a new thread, but I’m reading conflicting reports about 2.18 here and over at the AudioBus Forum.
I’m on an iPad Air 2 and upgraded from the original Auria to Auria Pro. Some users are reporting 2.18 fixed the crash issues that were introduced in 2.17, and others are saying 2.18 did not fix them.
It seems that 2.17 fixed the crash issues for users who purchased Auria Pro outright (did not upgrade from the original Auria or Auria LE).
I really don’t want to do a fresh install of Auria and go through reloading all my third party loops and IAPs, which was reported by a couple of users after they installed 2.18.
I think it might be a good idea to report here what iPad, iOS version, Auria upgrade path (Auria to Auria Pro or Auria LE to Auria Pro) users took, and if 2.18 is working for you.
Thank you.

Go for it, mate...
I'm running a Gen 1 iPad Pro 12.9, with A-to-AP on iOS 11.2.6 and it's all good.

I bit the bullet and updated iPad Air 2, iOS 11.3, Auria to Auria Pro. Running smooth. Whew.

Air2, iOS 11.x. Bought AP direct. Current projects opening and running fine.
*still reports 2.17 on settings page, although from I understand, 2.18 was primarily geared towards upgraders.
*my projects use some AU and FF fx, but no AU synths - I tend to keep synths “outside” of AP via AB. I mention this because of several mentions of AU synths, like ModelD, being an issue over on the AB forum.

Air 2 on iOS 11.3
I bought Auria in 2015, did the in app, Auria Store upgrade to Auria Pro when it was released.
The 2.17 update caused the crashing and Fab Filter plug in issues. I installed the 2.18 update fix and I haven't had any issues since.

2.18 fixed the FabFilter crashing issues for all users who originally purchased Auria or Auria LE (regardless if you upgraded to Pro or not). The only users not affected by the FabFilter issue in 2.17 are the ones who originally bought Pro. In any case, I recommend upgrading to 2.18 for all users.

Re: Is Auria 2.18 working for everyone?
We can always count on Rim to lay out the facts!
Although it brings up a point for me -
I was an Auria user previously, and because I could afford it I just purchased AP outright - as I felt the effort Rim had put in was worth it. I did have a few FF, and others, plugins in Auria and used the transfer purchase tool...
As mentioned, the existing projects I had opened ok so I was surprised by Rim’s clarification. I checked them again, and found I only had ProQ and Saturn in use (personally I get a lot done with the awesome channel strip alone).
So the weird thing is AP says 2.17 in the settings screen, and the iTunes Store is not offering 2.18. I’d written that off to my misconception that it was just about those following the upgrade path... I mean all seems well, but I thought I’d put that out there.
And while I’m at - Rim thank you so much for all your awesome and hard work! And an awesome piece of work it is, IMHO!

Sometimes it takes a few days for Apple's servers to update to the latest app versions, so perhaps just give it a few more days. That part is really out of our control. We just submit the app to Apple and the rest is up to them.

Re: Is Auria 2.18 working for everyone?
Yes, 2.18 is working fine, and Pro L2 is fantastic, but the update introduced a curious bug: sometimes, when I create a MIDI track and want to use a Twin 2 or One or Even Lyra preset, for instance, the submenu will appear in weird places or even outside the screen (meaning it won't appear at all). That can be fairly annoying because we only can open Twin or One (Lyra opens by default when you create a track) choosing a preset, so if the menu is outside the screen, that means we cannot use One or Twin ar all.
Re: Is Auria 2.18 working for everyone?
Interesting. I don't remember changing anything related to the menus in 2.18. Can you show me exactly how to duplicate this step by step?
Thanks,
Rim
