Novation Impulse 61 HUI mode ...

Had one of those 'didn't this work last time I tried it ?'-moments yesterday when struggling to get the transports, faders and rotary controls on my old(ish) Novation Impulse 61 to cooperate with Auria Pro ...

On my Macbook I can see the 'virtual HUI Midi port', and get it to control Reaper (transports, faders e.t.c ...).

But not so on my iPad ... not in Auria Pro nor in Logic Pro ?

Should this work ? or am I fighting a losing battle ?

I've got a clear(ish) memory of it working some time ago ... Might have been using my previous iPad (Pro 10.5) and/or the Novation Launchkey 49 MKII that I had before the Impulse 61 ... but ... ?

Is there a list of keyboard controllers that work as 'HUI Devices' ?
