Exporting Auria Pro to a DAW to use Melodyne?

I have been using Auria Pro for a while now but would also like to give Melodyne a try as part of my process. I realize you can't use Melodyne on iOS, so I would need to export my Auria Pro project (I guess via AAF) and import it into a DAW on PC to use Melodyne. Is anyone else doing this that could give any tips? I don't use a DAW on PC so any advice on a DAW that works well with AP would be great. Obviously, an inexpensive DAW option would be great, but not sure if that's possible.

Melodyne has a standalone app too, therefore I may not need to use a DAW, but this method might not be practical?
