iPhone version
This has probably been asked many times, but I’m new and I don’t see anything about it when I do a forum search. Are there plans for an iPhone version of Auria? Perhaps just a stripped down version with less functionality that would nonetheless allow people to work on their Auria projects on their iPhones?

Re: iPhone version
I see that this is a pretty active forum but since there haven’t been any responses to either of my questions, I can’t help wondering if maybe people are ignoring me because I’m brand new to the forum, so perhaps they think I’m a troll. I’m not.

Hello,
I assure you that you aren't being ignored
On the WaveMachine Labs end, we are just extremely busy!
Unfortunately at this time, there are no plans for an iPhone version of Auria. If there is a change to this, the Auria Forum members will be the first to know.

Re: iPhone version
Thanks for letting me know about that - I have a few other DAWs and a simple MIDI recorder that I can use on my iPhone, so I will just transfer things from them to Auria on my iPad.
I also got concerned that maybe people thought I was a troll because I joined the forum on the same day as some idiot who then immediately posted some sort of viagra ad! Good grief.

No brother, no one is a dick here (maybe Rim, but he's earned it...lol, kidding!). As Corey said they're busy and although the forum is active, it's not nearly as busy as the defacto iOS music production forum, the AudioBus forum:LeftyChris wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 8:50 pmThanks for letting me know about that - I have a few other DAWs and a simple MIDI recorder that I can use on my iPhone, so I will just transfer things from them to Auria on my iPad.

It's visited daily by most of us who love iOS as a recording platform, so if not already come over man.
About Auria on iPhone? It would be way to fiddly to work with and still have any semblance to a real DAW. Cubasis 3 is on iPhone and sorry but I think it looks ridiculous. Pro DAWs need some real estate to get the mix & arrangements to a point where they're easy to decipher.

Thanks, I appreciate that, and thanks for the welcome. I’ve read lots of posts on the Audiobus forum but I haven’t actually joined yet. I probably should.JRSIV wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 12:27 amNo brother, no one is a dick here (maybe Rim, but he's earned it...lol, kidding!). You’re probably right about Auria on the iPhone. To be honest, what I really wanted to be able to do was simply to jot down any idea that pops into my head and I figured if Auria were on the iPhone, this would make it seamless since I could save the idea on my phone and then, I thought, it would appear in on my iPad in Auria (I kind of assumed Auria had automatic cloud backup when I asked this question).
But really it’s no big deal - I can just record an idea into FL Studio Mobile on my iPhone, and then pull it from Google Drive on my iPad to use in Auria. As an iPad DAW FLSM obviously isn’t in the same league as Auria, but as a simple iPhone MIDI recorder (that’s how I use it), it does the job.
Incidentally, I also have Cubasis 3 but it didn’t click for me at all on iPad or iPhone.
