Hello,
This is most likely going to be a dumb question. I have been just getting into recording and messing around with Auria and had a pretty basic question about the fader section. I just want to make sure I understand this correctly.
The numbers on the right that go up to zero. Those are your input levels...is that right?
Which are the levels of your instruments coming in.
These levels you usually want to keep around -18db when while recording.
The numbers are on the right that go up to +10 those are your fader levels?
Which are the levels you send to the master, bus, etc.
So yeah just wondering if what I stated above was correct or not.
Thanks

Re: Question about fader section.
No these marks represent Peak level and RMS level. RMS is the average lodness and Peak is the loudest measurement. Your input level is only on the channel strip when the track is engaged to record and that input level is set by your own input (ie. turn your mic pre gain up or down) or tap and hold the record light on the channel and a record level control dial is available and Auria will attenuate that channels input. It is best to set that gain structuring before your daw. Cheers.
