View and monitor stereo waveforms
View and monitor stereo waveforms
How do I view my stereo tracks as stereo waveforms? Also, when monitoring a stereo input, I can only hear the left channel. I have searched but can find no setting for either of these issues.
Re: View and monitor stereo waveforms
Hi jmusco,
When you record a stereo track, you should see 2 waveforms in the track. The top waveform would represent the Left channel and the bottom the Right channel. Is this what you are referring to as 'Stereo Waveform'?
What kind of interface are you using with your iPad?
Are you monitoring with headphones or speakers?

Re: View and monitor stereo waveforms
Hi Corey W,
Thanks for your reply.
The track is stereo and is recording discrete right and left signals, but the waveform generated by Auria is only showing one channel. Even though I have specified a stereo track, there is only one waveform generated.
I am using a Focusrite iTrack Dock as my interface.
I am listening through the headphone jack of the iTrack Dock but only the left channel is heard in both ears.
When I export the project, the files are stereo. This is more of an inconvenience than anything, but it would be nice to see and hear stereo.
