MIDI Out of Sync (iPad pro 11 2018)
Hi there,
I’m facing a huge problem with Auria Pro on the iPad pro 11 2018. When I listen to a MIDI file, the output goes progressively out of sync. I cannot solve this problem in any way. Please, see the video below with a simple MIDI sequence.

Is there any way to solve this problem?
Best regards.

I just tried an identical MIDI track but couldn’t replicate your issue. Tried different buffer settings, 44.1 and 48 KHz projects, no issue at all.
iPad Air 2
IOS v12.3.1
AP v2.23
Have you tried swiping off all apps from memory and then rebooting your iPad? Maybe there’s some IAA zombie in memory interfering or causing some issue.

Have you power-cycled your iPad?
Have you always had this problem?
What other apps are running?

iPad pro 11 (2018)
iOS v12.4
AP v2.23
Yep, I power-cycled the iPad.
No other apps are running, no FX on the channel, the internal Auria piano is playing.
This is the first time I try to record with the new iPad. Never had this problem on the iPad pro 10.5.
Thanks for your help,
Alberto

Re: MIDI Out of Sync (iPad pro 11 2018)
I just read on the iPad Musician group one person reporting MIDI timing issues on his iPhone after updating to IOS 12.4.
I guess it could maybe be related to this thread.
Anyone on 12.4 that can test MIDI timing with any app?

Dear Rodolfo,
in the meanwhile, I made some experiments and noticed that the problem does not appear when the project is set to 48 khz.
Another issue appeared though. I noticed that adding some tracks and scrolling the channels to the right the master track is no longer visible on iPad pro 11 in mixer view .
Thanks,
Alberto

Re: MIDI Out of Sync (iPad pro 11 2018)
I guess the problem is then related to the new iPad Pro and the way it sets the sample frequency, I understand it defaults to 48KHz and does not respect the 44.1KHz setting, unless you connect an audio interface. There have been numerous issues with music apps due to this issue.
@Rim
I believe this issue should be included for a fix in the upcoming version, I can’t test it since I don’t have a new iPad Pro, but some of the beta testers may have one and could confirm this odd behavior.
