A good drum looper/machine for Auria?

Post by rayetheridge » Thu Sep 19, 2013 8:42 pm

What is a good one that has a tempo setting that is actually accurate with Aurias metronome and time signature? I would like a application that has "AutoCopy" and has precision tempo settings. Some applications only do 5bpm intervals.

Also, is there a auto-tempo sync in Auria for drum loops? An example: If I paste a 65 bpm loop on the track, you can change it to 68 bpm to match your project song.

There's a check box when you import tracks or loops to change the current bpm to match the loop.

DM1 is a very nice drum machine with a large number of sampled kits to choose from and you can add your own samples. It is not the best for rock or metal, but with an "in app purchase" of Drumagog you can replace any sound with a nicer sample in Auria after import.

Thanks Martygras:

I found "EasyBeat" application that works perfectly for me and my needs. It uses AudioCopy and it lines the tempo up accurately with Auria. Even though it compresses down to 16 bit using AudioCopy and it does not take well to plugins.

I will have to learn how to use Drumagog. Does it allow you to create your own loops using a variety of drum kits?

Drumagog is a drum replacement tool. If you bring in your drums onto separate tracks, you can replace each drum with a better/different sample.
