Here's an acoustic version of a Black Keys song, this is my 1st attempt using Audiobus (with Auria and ThumbJam) and I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it worked, I'm using an iPad 2 32gb and aside from a couple of memory issues it was cool.

Anyway, this is the track

Hope you like it

Latest track with auria. MoReVox drums, bass and guitar di with external Line 6 pod for distortion and flange, pro q and stock compressors. Used irig headphone jack for interface. Just a simple riff, trying to get the basics down. Please advise of any issues you may hear or suggest areas for improvement. I've got about a months worth of experience with auria so far. Really enjoying the app!
Thanks!

drock wrote:So, heres a SUPER rough demo track of the upcoming album. Mind you, its not edited, mixed, mastered, etc...its completely raw so thats why it sounds like garbage right now but its just to give you a taste of what the album will feel like. Also, there are no vocals yet since I'm stuck on writing lyrics and havent found a great vocalist but all the melodies are laid out already. Its very quick snippets tied together of the first 4 songs.

This track is simply too cool. Ahead of its time. Steely Dan'ish which means complex and very good. Must listen. 10/10 rating from A.I.R Studio

Please critique and send suggestions! I still think the guitars are muddy but I may have done a better job with a cleaner tone.

Thanks!
Very powerful track. Love the tight guitars and melody. Very well done. 9/10 rating by A.I.R. Studio. Cheers.

Here is a "rough" mix of a new song by my reggae band, Ashes of Babylon...it's called "World On Fire". Still some lyrical work to be done, and plenty of fine-tuning the mix (mixed in a set of AKG K141 Monitor headphones, btw..), but not too damn bad, if I do say so myself! Need to get it over to my favorite studio so I can listen back through their Barefoot monitors for discrepencies...Never the less, feel free to give it a listen and let me know what you think. This was done solely in Auria with a Presonus 1818VSL+Digimax FS, and a whole slew of plug-ins, plus another iPad for iMini and JamUp Pro. I'm absolutely flabbergasted :P MicroWarmer is the bomb! Straight up!

The first song was produced in Reason and transferred track by track to Auria. I have done so much work since I've had Auria! I sit waiting for the next email for Rim!

Thanks Anthony, for the listen and comments.

Here's my take on Visage's 'Fade to Grey' (free download). Composed in Nanostudio, then grouped into 8 stems and exported to Auria, where final mixing and mastering takes place.

Enjoy!
