Some of the mics peaked at times
Great job and great vocals. Cheers.

...some great tunes on here - great to hear Auria's potential growing!

Here's my first outing from a few months back: https://soundcloud.com/chris-hutch/the-waiting

I never intended this to be a track but more of a learning exercise - I'd just got my iPad and interface and a few new apps (DrumJam and Korg iMS20) and kept layering tracks to help learn the ropes. I wanted to try double mic-ing my guitar cab for myself which turned out well enough.
Biggest thing I learnt was that the mixing, automation and mastering on Auria can easily help you 'produce' something out of a busy barrage of tracks..

Anthony, thanks a lot for your comment even on Soundcloud, nice of you. The plugins that have been recently added to Auria are really amazing !!!!!!!! They unfortunately take a lot of memory (CPU) even if the sample is off it still takes memory BUT we can really start doing something quite professional. I did that song with itrack solo from Focusrite and am happy from the result. An English label got interested in my music (from tracks made with Auria) so that means that we can do something really very close to a pro daw and I even can tell u that the plugins given in Auria are much more vast that in a Logic Pro Studio daw on Mac which am normally use!!! I will tell you something: I don't even anymore use Logic...I got dependent on the way of creating on IPad...it is much more imagination free and easy to get what you want and ergonomic. I imagine what it will become after few months...my God. :D
Thanks again Anthony for your encouragement and thanks a lot too to Rim who helps me a lot each and every moment I need or am stucked in a problem.
:D
Regards to you all

Thanks for the kind comments Anthony, I appreciate it.

This track was made and mixed in Nanostudio and mastered in Auria. Plenty of influence from the likes of Derrick May and the Detroit house sound of yesteryear.

Hope you enjoy

For my first Auria recording, I wanted to do a simple acoustic recording. 2 guitar tracks, 1 bass track & 1 vocal.

Let me know how it sounds on your gear. My arrangement of Red River Valley

Most of my music is a lot more complicated than this - orchestral & synth-based. If anyone is curious.
My Youtube page. http://www.youtube.com/user/louparte1

But the simple acoustic recordings to me are more difficult to get right than the complex orchestral ones.
Auria is old school.I love that.

Hi Friends,

Here is a link to my last piece of music (kind of electro synth pop) composed in Nanostudio and mixed and mastered in Auria (with use of PSP warmer compressor) :

I hope you will enjoy and do not hesitate to review the mix & master side.
