BWAV export?

Post by touch33 » Wed Jul 18, 2012 1:05 am

Any plans to support export of BWAV files in the near future?

Any wav file that originated in Auria (recording) is a broadcast wav by default (timestamped with the original record position). But Auria won't convert any wav files you import into broadcast wav. Is that what you're asking?

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. I'm working a project that will eventually be transferred to a JoeCo "BlackBox Player". According to JoeCo docs, this device requires BWAV file format - hence my newbie question.

Ok, no problem ;) If you record your tracks within Auria, the result will be broadcast wav. The file extension is still .wav, but it's really a broadcast wav (broadcast wavs can either be .wav or .bwav. It doesn't really matter). You can always change the file extension yourself, if it really needs bwav.
