Can anyone recommend “heavy metal drums” in Auria pro

Post by C Holdz » Sun Dec 20, 2020 4:02 pm

Hey
I know there are extra loops and plug ins and Lyra is like the most advanced Au3, its a VST honestly.

What can I add to it for heavy metal drums in the Auria store?

Thanks

Does anyone use drumagog or does anyone program heavy metal drums?

What do you use app wise? What do you recommend?

Also, does Audiobus make it better for the drum tracks?

Drumagog is a drum replacement app. It’s intended use is to use with recorded drums. It can then replace the recorded drums with better sounding samples from professionally recorded libraries.

I use drumagog all the time for drums. My work flow is program the drum parts in midi, either in auria, or some other app (notion app is great for writing out drum parts and exporting midi into auria) and import midi file into auria. Then because I use drumagog I separate the midi into separate midi files for each drum part, after that I use auria’s drum sfz and bounce the tracks down to audio. After that I apply drumagog to each drum track. I found drumagog works much better with audio instead of midi.

The best metal samples I have found are from a site called “TMKD” these are free and come as gog files. Free usually means they suck but these are bad ass metal kicks snares and toms, at least I think so.
Here is one track I used these on

I bought the drive monster drums 1 & 2
I bought drumagog
I bought platinum rock loops

I can’t get Auria to open drumagog
Drive monster drums is good but they need to devote at LEAST TWO drum presets for metal
