Using 3rd Party FX in Auria Pro

Post by Zergei72 » Thu Oct 22, 2020 11:35 am

Hi ...

Just purchased Mobile POD and VocaLive (Mic Room - Bundle) for my iPad ;
As a quite noobie to this, I'd like to find out how do I use them as inserts in Auria Pro .

I know ... clicking on FX and selecting the plugin from the list,
but the FX are opened as their own app - instances, if you know what I mean .

How do I open them so, that I don't have to switch between Auria and the FX .

There's clearly something, that I'm missing .

Hi Zergei,
If the insert appears in Blue lettering in the Auria FX insert list, that is an IAA (inter-app audio) plugin and will open in a separate window and run in the background when used in conjunction with Auria.

Inserts appearing in Green lettering are AUv3 (audio units) plugins and will run natively in Auria. Anytime you have the choice, lean towards the AUv3 option.
