Auria Midi is a bad joke

Post by Heiner » Thu Dec 14, 2017 11:00 am

Sorry, but your „professional-level“ App with „comprehensive MIDI support“ is simply not
working as advertised!
Import a Midi File with a 3/4 time signature, still 4/4.
Import one with 6/4, everything all over the place.
Drum Midi Files are missing Notes, quavers turn into breves and other major flaws.
The Audio Part of Auria is really brilliant, but Midi is (for my needs) completely unusable.
Is there any Chance that this is getting fixed in the near future?

Cheers, Heiner

Sorry to hear that. I am aware of a few minor bugs which are on my list, but not related to imports or missing notes like you describe. I have a bunch of test MIDI files that import just fine here. Can you send me your file so I can test it here to see what might be going on? Which DAW created the file, by the way?

Thanks,
Rim

I don’t know about importing midi files with Auria, but I do know that midi recording that happens within Auria works very well.

I import midi files all the time, and it works very well. Are you sure the file is being exported correctly?

Small life hack. Insulting people when looking for help is generally not conducive to being taken seriously.
