Guitar tuning app?
Guitar tuning app?
Completely not auria related but does any know of an app to tune a guitar via the audio interface plug and not the mic of the ipad? Other then full guitar sound effects app I can't find a simple app that just tunes my guitar.

Re: Guitar tuning app?
I think AmpKit, AmpliTube, and JamUp have free versions of their apps that include tuners.
Re: Guitar tuning app?
There's a million of them. Cleartune by bitcount( a good all rounder) , iStrobosoft ( one of the best pro tuners made by Peterson of strobe tuner fame), FastTune HT6, Guitar Toolkit, Polytune by TC Electronic and a zillion more...
"get down off that cross we could use the wood..."
Re: Guitar tuning app?
Yes but do these listen to the guitar via the USB input? I have a bunch of these installed but they all work via the mic unless I purchase a full guitar package/sound effects app like amplitudesodium wrote:There's a million of them. Re: Guitar tuning app?
I use AccuTune by PositiveGrid makers of BIAS and it's totally free. Very acurate and I always tune my guitar via the usb interface never by the internal iPad muc. And if you own Garageband there is one in there too. Just search the app store for Positive Grid inc. Cheers.

I really like the tuner in Guitar Toolkit.
Re: Guitar tuning app?
Yes, get Guitar Toolkit. You can tweet a blurb about it, or share it to FB and get the IAP for free. So much in there that is useful.
Re: Guitar tuning app?
I didn't realize that about getting the IAP if you give them some publicity, cool deal!
