Re: Some News about AURIA's MIDI SEQUENCER ???
Wonderful to hear! I've invested in virtually everything Auria has to offer, so it's my preferred platform. Once it has MIDI sequencing and instrument capability, I think it's going to dominate iOS music production.

Rim, are we to expect it this year? Not holding you to a specific date, but a reasonable ETA would be appreciated by one and all.

Re: Midi controller pad
I don't have the unit any longer, but my recollection is that the pads were very good for both the touch and sensitivity. You can also do quite a lot of software adjustments for those and many more parameters.

No reason why it shouldn't... I used an MPD32 via the camera connection kit and it worked just fine.

Re: Midi sequencer and virtual instruments
If you haven't already done so, freeze the tracks you are not currently working on. This relieves much of the load on the CPU.

Hey Anthony, is it possible for you to PM me? I have been trying to contact you, but I'm not sure if my email and PM via the forum is working (satellite internet sucks!).

Thank you for that... 20 seconds is just way too excessive! Easier to just move a marker out to encompass the tails and have Auria write only to that marker.Rim wrote:In a future version, I'll make this an option in the mixdown box.

Here's mine, basically a Fatar 88-key weighted controller, Roland Duo-Capture EX USB audio/MIDI interface and iPad 4. I also use an Akai MPKmini for travel.

If you can't eliminate it at the source, then try to use an EQ like Pro-Q to notch it out with a very narrow Q notch filter.

Re: "This accessory is not supported by iPad"
This message will show up with plug-in devices (CCK, MPKmini etc) every now and then regardless of which iPad you have. In most cases, unplugging the device, turning the iPad off and then re-plugging it in will clear the issue.

Re: Merge tracks? Other ways to reduce CPU usage?
Sch - I started freezing tracks last night. We'll see how it goes. Thanks. I think you'll find that freezing will do the trick for you. I initially ran Auria on a 64 GB iPad 1 and had projects with 20+ tracks, all with efx chains, and freezing allowed me to complete them with no CPU worries. Bear i...

Re: Merge tracks? Other ways to reduce CPU usage?
Are you freezing tracks that have efx on them once they are as you want them? This is the best way to free up processor power.
