Re: Vocal Normalizing

Distance from the mic will affect bass a lot, so you need to be very careful to keep that consistant between takes. A pop filter can help know how far you are from the mic.

Re: ye gadzooks! convolution reverb settings

Cheers Rim. Just to be clear, the reverb works fine with that depth of folders, but needs resetting after an update.

Re: ye gadzooks! convolution reverb settings

I just had this happen to a conv reverb again after an update, but restarting Auria doesn't seem to fix it. I still have the bug 'alive' if you want me to test anything. Reverb opens up with no file or graphic showing but is playing a big 5.1second reverb file.

Because you aren't panning the copy, only the original.

Re: Reverb and panning!?

One round about way is to make a copy of any hard panned track you need reverb on, then apply the reverb to that copied track 100% wet and mix to the master in the required amount. Side benefit is you can apply processing to the reverb.

Re: convolution reverb after update

That has happened to me on a lot of updates too. It seemed to default to the first IR in the set so all conv reverbs had to be set up again from scratch.

Re: Opening an Auria project on a desktop daw

If you go to the mixdown menu and select stems as the output format it will export all the tracks individually. Best use 24 bit. You can then import those into tracks in your desktop DAW via Dropbox or iFunbox(PC) and a usb cable. Page 80 of the manual explains the mixdown menu.

Re: Can you record at 96kHz if the interface maximum is 48kH

Trying to record a 44.1k stream at 48k results in a crash, at least on a duocapture.

Re: Select which input interface in the mix

Not sure if I am understanding your question correctly, but I think you want the input matrix, just tap the menu button and you will see it. In there you can select which input goes to which track.

Re: Stereo Separation Plugin?

Aside from using really short convolution reverb on individual tracks to get some size, you could try this app on the final mix
https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/audio-m ... 15541?mt=8

I haven't tried it and it's obviously not a native Auria plugin, so I can't comment on how well it works.

Re: Stereo Separation Plugin?

Do you mean adding some width/size to individual instruments that are too narrow in the mix?

Re: Auria 48khz recording problem

Good find - adds to the mystery though! I don't have the interface here to test, but I know it crashed Auria on my friend's iPad 4 when 48k was selected, but was fine at 44.1k.

Re: Auria 48khz recording problem

Not wanting to start an argument here, but the manual says on page 10: Select when connecting to a tablet device. There is no need to install the included USB driver. In this mode, the DUO-CAPTURE EX operates on power from the batteries or the optional AC adaptor. The sampling frequency is fixed at ...
