Anthony,
I am actually expecting a MCU Pro to come into the office this week. I suppose the timing is good based on your post here. Once I get it set up on my end, I will report back if I am getting the same results in Auria Pro.

Re: Recording electronic drums
When you record the stereo audio from your Alesis, there is very little you can do with it mixing wise so make sure the individual drum levels are good before recording.
Having drums tracked in MIDI gives you incredible flexibility for using different sounds, mixing and editing.

Re: Recording electronic drums
Your best bet would be to record both the MIDI and audio out of your Alesis interface. -Using a MIDI cable, connect from the MIDI Out of your Alesis to the MIDI In of your Interface. -Use two 1/4" audio cables to connect both the Left and Right audio output from the Alesis to your interface. -I...

Re: Auria to Auria Pro Upgrade Troubleshooting
Ivan,
All you have to do is open Auria, go into the Auria Store and click on 'Restore Purchases' in the upper right. That will get you back up to Pro and restore any plugins you may have also purchased from the Auria Store.

Re: Change between apps while recording
After reading a bunch of reviews online for the Mopho x4 app it looks like all of the issues are probably on their end. The app has not been updated since Aug. 2014. You may want to try contacting them to see if they will add in support for an IAA transport control or make some all around bug fixes....

Re: Where is "Use tempo/time signature track?"
You have to first add at least one data point in the 'Tempo Track' (Edit> Tempo Track) under Tempo or Time Signature and then in the metronome (time) settings, 'Use Tempo/Time Signature Tracks' will appear as an option.

I am sure that the 2+ will be compatible, it has just not been added to the interface list yet. I will be making some updates and additions to the list next week.

Re: Studio speakers
For high quality monitoring, you can expect sub-par results from computer speakers. However, it is always worth having some for checking your mixes on different sources. No matter what kind of speakers you go with, listen to your favorite albums you have heard a million times to know how the speaker...

Re: Studio speakers
Hi, If you are wanting to use studio speakers that have XLR or 1/4" inputs, then yes, you would want to use a USB interface with outputs you can connect to the speakers and control the volume. If you wanted to just use your iPad without an interface then you can get computer speakers that are m...

Pete,
Make sure you are plugging your headphones into the headphone input on the iTrack solo and not the headphone jack on the iPad.

Hi Jmaxwell ,
When you are in the FX window on your MIDI track click on the 'e' button just to the right of the 'Instrument' dropdown window.

Re: ipad connection to PA system.
Hi Eddie, You have a few choices to get your iPad output to the PA. This also depends on the board that is hooked up to the PA, as many boards offer many choices for input. The easiest (but least recommended) is to go 1/8" out of the iPad straight to dual 1/4" into the board outputting to ...

Re: No sound from Lyra/FabFilter
Hi Philh0954, Did you originally have the track using Lyra or Twin2 record armed? A lot of people forget that step and then assume their keyboard isn't connected correctly. Also, in the Menu> Settings> MIDI tab ensure that the first instance of 'Launchkey' is set to send and receive Notes. The secon...

Re: Lyra - Importing EXS24 drumkits - gives only full veloci
The round robins made in EXS24 do work in Lyra. It works by group linking (see the attached screen shot). If you have a Snare(A) and Snare(B) under the column "Select Group By" you would leave Snare(A) blank and insert Snare(A) as the group 'trigger' for Snare(B). If you have a Snare(C) th...
