Ir files missing after upgrade

Just got my iPad pro. Everything else went okay, the transfer from Auria to Auria pro worked. I was able to restore the ir files I purchased. But the rest are not there. When I go into convolution reverb, I see the folders for my purchases, but not the standard ones. I see a bunch of odd characters.

Re: Drum apps that record into separate channels?

Midiflow does that. It's a routing app. If for instance I had 4 different drums coming in on one channel, each drum is a different note. I set up four different routes in midiflow, each one looking for a particular note, and route that out to a different channel. Works great.

Re: Fabfilter vers. Final Touch

Pro C is a different beast, it's a wonderful tool, good on individual tracks. Pro-L, the limiter, is an amazing mixdown tool. I have used Final Touch a bit, as I picked it up on sale, but I like Pro-L better; it just seems to do that final wrapping of everything in a wonderful way. But, if i had com...

Re: Only one instance of Bias FX?

If you have the sound you like, then just commit and record it. I spent a lot of time mucking around with recording bare guitar, then trying to apply affects after. If you can get a good sound to start, just go with it. It's no easier to try and get it afterwards.

Re: Drum apps that record into separate channels?

If you have the ability in the app to send different drums to different midi channels, it will work. If it all comes in the same midi channel, with different notes, you can use midiflow, another app. I have a drum pad that I play, it sends midi, each one a different note, but always on the same chan...

Out and back to Thumbjam - multiple tracks

I have a midi file that I have imported into Auria, with multiple tracks. I'm trying to figure out how I would send track 1 to Thumbjam slot 1, with one instrument, then send track 2 to Thumbjam slot 2, with a different instrument. I could send them one at a time and simply record them back as audio...

Re: Audio Units in Auria Pro

Not having had any screaming need for AU yet, I don't see anything different or have anything to test. Do they just go in the usual spot for effects in the channel strip?

Re: Song start from scratch.

If you copy one midi track into a second track, you can then change which set of samples you are pointing at in Auria. If you are running against a synth outside of Auria, you would have to send the output back into Auria as an audio signal. If you bounce a midi track, it becomes an audio track, a ....

Re: Do people stay with the effects delivered with Auria Pro

Auria is a fantastic product, the built in stuff is really excellent. The Fabfilter plugins take it to another level. Q2, C2 and L are a must for me. I also have Saturn and Timeless. The PSP stuff is also excellent - MicroWarmer is great for adding a bit of warmth to tracks, and for straight reverb ...

Re: Importing saved .prj from Dropbox

That's not correct. That's what you do if you are loading an audio file that you want added to a track, and that needs to be a file you can see on it's own. As Rim said, use load project, then select Dropbox as the source - you can see the choice of Local or Dropbox at the top. Then you'll see your ...

Re: Snapping Regions Together Seamlessly

The one thing I would also add to the discussion is that, once I get all my regions lined up the way I want, I tend to bounce in place, generally without effects, as I don't necessarily want them hard baked into the audio. You can think of bouncing as "join everything in the track". I do t...

Re: Snapping Regions Together Seamlessly

To use join, you need to use the multiselect tool to select the two regions, then join will work on them. If the time is not quite right, you can slide the second region back and forth until the time is right.

Re: Recording electronic drums

You could do that, but I don't know how you would break it down into seperate tracks, because at that point, it's no longer midi. It's audio. When midi is sent, it's not the actual sound. It's just what note it is, duration, attack, fade, velocity of strike, etc. You then on the target platform pick...
