Re: Saving to Dropbox

Like a sensible boy, I tried this. Saved to Dropbox. Can then delete the project off the iPad. Open from Dropbox. Gets reinstalled onto the iPad. Nice and simple. Should add that to the docs.

Saving to Dropbox

Does this then remove the files from the iPad? Can you move a project back to the iPad if you want to work on it again locally?

The docs are good on this stuff, telling you how to do things, but not exactly what the consequences are.

Monitoring Systems

Was reading the headphones thread, and it got me to thinking a lot. I won't describe my current monitoring situation, as it's not much. It strikes me as the next thing I need to look at. A nice simple solution that doesn't take up a lot space and would have multiple uses is the iLoud. It's not hugel...

Re: Recording Levels not Being Set Before Pressing Play

Ah, thanks for the reply. I'll check out the volume on Amplitube recorder. I didn't even think to look there, as I assumed it was not part of the chain. Tone was excellent as it was, so not too much distortion on it. Or at least, the distortion that was there was what I wanted. :D

Recording Levels not Being Set Before Pressing Play

I use amplitube for electric guitar and bass. I run it through Audiobus into Auria. I arm the track, I press the record button. Input levels are crazy high. Nothing I want to do in Amplitube works. I want the tone and gain I have set, but I can't seem to adjust the volume anyway. I press the track r...

Re: Plug Ins

It did, thanks for taking the time.

I'm just getting back into recording after many years not doing so, and I'm learning all over again. Got to develop my ears more too.

Re: Amp/Pedal Modelling

Thanks, after posting, I was able to find Jam Up. Lots of other possibilities there, too, in your list. Going to have to check them out. I'm both a guitarist and a bassist, I found the basic Amplitube bass amp to be quite decent. With the two bundles I purchased, I got a 59 Fender Bassman model, and...

Amp/Pedal Modelling

I'm currently using Amplitube for my guitar amp and pedal modelling. It came for free with my iRig Pro, and I have since picked up a the Orange bundle, and the Fender bundle. I'm getting some great tones out of this, and through Audiobus, it works well into Auria. Are there any plugins or other soft...

Re: Plug Ins

I'll keep my eyes open. Just enjoying the app right now. It's got to be the most intuitive DAW I have ever used, everything is so nice and simple to figure out. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the plugins.

Plug Ins

I see lots of people saying they love these. The micro warmer seems to get praise. But what exactly are they? I do pretty well all instrumental music, both acoustic and electric. Would this be helpful?

File Management Question

I'm trying to figure what exactly the file cleanup does, and how I can make things better for myself. If I record a track, then decide to re-record that track, does the original track get cleaned up? Or should I just manually delete the old track before i start recording? Also, if I do an auto punch...
