Re: Hangs on mix down
OK, I'm trying to follow what you did. You said the blue popup appears. What blue popup is that? There shouldn't be any blue popup when mixing down. Usually, to do a mixdown, you go to the menu, select Mixdown, then pick your options, and then press OK. After you press OK, the mixdown box should go ...

Re: AAF import via Dropbox
Phil,
Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it. To import an aaf project into Auria using DropBox, you just need to put the aaf file, along with it's associated audio files into it's own folder in DropBox. Then, Auria should see it and import everything that's in that folder onto your ipad.

Re: Tempo synced delay
The stereo delay and chorus plugins currently don't support tempo sync, but it's something on our list for a future update.

Re: My eyes!
Believe me, we've tried everything (spent months on optimizing the editor). It's simply not feasible yet.

Re: Import wav
Yes, you can do this using: Import Audio File, or by using Audio Copy/Paste (you copy in one app, then paste in another).

Re: Hangs on mix down
Can you give an example of how this is happening? If I create a new project here, and import a few stereo wav files, then try a mixdown, it works fine.
Thanks,

Re: My eyes!
It's on our list already, but higher resolution waveforms in the editor will need to wait until a faster iPad comes out, since making these in retina would be much too slow with the current hardware.

Re: File management features request and some AAF questions
1) I would like to be able to address Mac's or PC's hard drives directly (e.g. via AFP) for file exchange. It is possible as many apps have this function these days (like Files Connect and Files Browser). An alternative way would be to access Auria's 'Disk' via a browser with a password. But I pref...

Re: BWAV export?
Ok, no problem ;) If you record your tracks within Auria, the result will be broadcast wav. The file extension is still .wav, but it's really a broadcast wav (broadcast wavs can either be .wav or .bwav. It doesn't really matter). You can always change the file extension yourself, if it really needs ...

Re: Blank new session, new tracks created as STEREO added as
To record a stereo track, you need to also choose the proper input routing, using the input matrix. Make sure you select both channels for recording (1 & 2).

Re: BWAV export?
Any wav file that originated in Auria (recording) is a broadcast wav by default (timestamped with the original record position). But Auria won't convert any wav files you import into broadcast wav. Is that what you're asking?

The Focusrite 8i6 and 18i6 are nice, so is the RME UCX. Have you looked into these?

Re: Blank new session, new tracks created as STEREO added as
How are you adding the tracks? If you create a new project (with 0 tracks, for example), then press Add Track, and select 8 stereo tracks, you should get 8 stereo tracks (you'll see the little oo symbol above each channel in the mixer, that's how you know it's a stereo track). Now, if you add a mono...

Re: Scarlett_I8i6 digital input sync?
We're not really sure about that. I think you'll need to contact Focusrite to get a clearer idea. The iPad simply uses whatever defaults are provided in terms of clocking.
