Re: Buffer size problem
Acaonweb, hi there. Thanks for bringing that particular device to my attention as I hadn't come across it when searching for IPAD compatible devices? It's certainly a step in the right direction but for me 8 inputs are the minimum I can get away with hence the use of the 18i8. Take care Trevor Updat...

Re: Buffer size problem
I did have a communication from Focusrite today simply advising they are still talking to APPLE about a resolution to the problem but suggesting it will only come from an APPLE future IOS Update as in 9.3 but no guarantee. All in all a very unsatisfactory situation. The CCK method of communicating w...

Re: Buffer size problem
Metallion you must be totally frustrated by this situation and can understand your anger at not being able to revert back to 9.1 at this point in time. I see you have managed to download the physical file but I suspect it is ITunes that somehow links with Apple to authorise the install. Perhaps some...

Re: Buffer size problem
Metallion, hi there. I used the following website to revert back to iOS 9.1. Apple don't have the decency to allow a simple set-back to earlier versions of their software leaving it to a number of websites to do their job for them. The link is :- http://www.gottabemobile.com/2015/12/08/how-to-downgr...

Re: Buffer size problem
Because of the despicable and inconsiderate lack of response from APPLE on this issue I am seriously considering whether the IPAD PRO can remain as a stable recording platform for musicians. The bulk of multi input audio interfaces are USB and connect to the IPAD via the camera connection kit. If AP...

Copy and Paste to track 1
RIM just to confirm a small bug noted by "mixmaker" in his long post of difficulties he is experiencing. I couldn't see a reference to it in the Bug listing but he is correct in noting that it is not possible to copy and paste sections into track one from any other track. E.g if I try to c...

Re: Auria Pro...disapointment.. My collection of errors
Hi mixmaker, there are plenty of experts and frequent users of AURIA PRO that should be able to help you resolve your current problems. I run AURIA PRO on an Apple IPad Pro running iOS version 9.1 and have not experienced any major operational issues even with the most complex setups. May I make a s...

Re: Buffer size problem
Hi Levi, iOS 9.2 update caused severe latency and instability issues that could not be resolved by any settings on the Scarlett 18i8 or AURIA PRO. I contacted Focusrite who are pursuing the issue with APPLE but to date there has been no reports of a fix. I had to revert back to 9.1 which runs withou...

Re: Buffer size problem
Same here. iOS 9.2 trashed my Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 so I had to revert back to 9.1 on my IPad Pro. Waiting for Focusrite to resolve the issue. Take care

Re: Buffer size problem
Hi R&M just out of curiosity I tried SUNRIZER on my IPad 4 with iOS 9.2 installed and on my iPad Pro with iOS 9.1 installed. Both devices seemed to work OK and I could change the buffer size on SUNRIZER and the IPad without any difficulty. I initially opened Sunrizer and set the Latency figure t...

Re: Creating harmony
Hi there, I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are after but I have been using an APP called HARMONY VOICE by VirSyn which is the only App I have found that allows me to control harmonies via my external Roland Keyboard using MIDI. It also has an internal keyboard as well so MIDI not required if...

Re: Ampkit+ as Insert mutes channel
AMPKIT seems to be having big time problems with iOS 9.1 at the moment certainly from my experience. I have been in communication with the developers for some time as I have the full paid version of AMPKIT but it fails to connect consistently as an IAA plugin through my external interface. Prior to ...

Affilate Code unset.
RIM I keep getting this message pop up. Affilate code unset. Please set your affilate code! It seems to be related to Audiocopy.
Thanks

Warping Help
Hi everyone I've not used warping before but while experimenting with the feature I displayed the transient markers on a Bass guitar track and when I switched to warping mode I was able to correct a couple of Bass guitar timing errors. When I switched off the warping mode the Bass guitar audio rever...
