Re: Saving and Transferring Mic settings
Thanks Corey, that will be a great help to me. Had I the ability to test this out at home I would have done so, but unfortunately my gear is set up at another location over thirty miles away and I'm only their once a week with no opportunity to work on it due to many people being around. I will need...

Re: Saving and Transferring Mic settings
Corey, sorry if i havn't made myself clear, but I am using the Alesis iO Dock II with the iPad Air 2. An external hardwired mic will be connected to “Input 1” of the Alesis iO Dock. I intend using Auria’s built in Convolution Reverb along with the plug-in “ClassicVerb Pro” to create reverb settings ...

Re: Saving and Transferring Mic settings
Thanks Corey for the information. I’m aware about creating templates and saving them, but because I am dealing with external hardware that is connected to an external MIDI interface and not just working within Auria itself, I am a little uncertain if the settings of external hardware such as microph...

Saving and Transferring Mic settings
Hi everyone, Regarding adding a microphone to the Input 1 of the Alesis iO Dock II and setting it up with Reverb, a previous comment said I would have to open up a project every time I wanted to use the mic with reverb settings on it. I assume that when I create a MIDI backing track and add a mic wi...

Re: Distorted playback with JamUp
I too have the Alesis iO Dock II but haven't used it yet so I can't comment about your problem. However, I have emailed tech support at Alesis on a few occasions and they were very prompt in getting back to me.
Alesis support may be the best place to ask this question.

Enable Piano Roll and 64-bit Mixer
Hi all, A question which I'm sure has an obvious fix. I can't enter notes into the piano roll (Track 1) using fingers or Stylus since attaching my external xKey MIDI Keyboard, even when; (Channel Strip/MIDI Control/Input/All) is selected. Disconnecting xKey or keyboard or rebooting does not resolve ...

Re: Good Interface for Creating Drum Parts and Loops
Thanks guys for your input. I already have GarageBand, and you’re right, it does seem to have a good drum kit in it, but I have a few more questions. I’ve also had DrumPerfect on my radar for a little while now, but a quote from another individual says; (it does not let you play your sample-based ki...

Good Interface for Creating Drum Parts and Loops
OK all, Trying to create a drum part on the iPad is (to say the least) somewhat difficult. I'm ready to consider a more dedicated device (or software) for the purpose of doing this. I have not googled this yet because I'd like to get some input from some of you as to what you've found to be a decent...

Re: Snapping Regions Together Seamlessly
Yes Anthony, you understood me correctly. In this case I want a Kick Drum part for the length of the song (about 5 minutes). I first create a smaller clip (say 15 seconds) then in order to speed things up, duplicate the first part I’ve created to make a 30 second clip, then duplicate it again to mak...

Re: Snapping Regions Together Seamlessly
Thanks rickwaugh, that's another one out of the way, it works perfectly. However, is this the "Snap" method that Anthony had mentioned, or is this just another way to join two sections together? He had said that when using the "Snapping" feature, to set the snapping menu to (Bars...

Snapping Regions Together Seamlessly
In a previous post, Anthony mentioned that 2 sections can be joined together seamlessly using the “Snap” feature but I can’t find any information on how to do this, not in the manual, the forum, or on You Tube. In fact, I have been trying to join sections together for some weeks but have not been su...

Re: Multiple track record levels & Seamless joining of secti
Hi Anthony,
I've been trying to figure out that one for a little while and couldn't find the answer on the forum, and even though I've looked in the user guide, it's probably tucked away in there somewhere, lol.
Thanks again.
Have a great day.

Re: Multiple track record levels & Seamless joining of secti
Anthony, I was just checking out your procedure for writing in the velocity, and I am running into another problem. The drum parts I am using are in the (C1) octave of the keyboard. To access this area, I have to zoom in so much to bring it up on the screen that the piano keyboard and the grid is so...

Just a quick question to Rim and the moderators of this forum (if they are reading this).
Why (with 21 posts) am I being referred to as an "Expert" but am asking all the questions? lol.
