Re: Recording midi sustain pedal input problem

Ok, got it. I guess I was expecting to see the entire note as it sounds in the piano roll. I am noticing that in some apps only the actual recorded note sounds but not the sustained portion. Obviously not an Auria problem. Thanks for the replies. I hope Wavelabs is paying you well. You have a master...

Re: Recording midi sustain pedal input problem

Not having a hanging note problem. I guess another way to put it is if you use the hold function in a synth app like Nlog or Nave etc. for example, then press a note on its virtual keyboard with the hold engaged, the note will get recorded in the piano log as long as the key is being pressed but wil...

Re: Recording midi sustain pedal input problem

Sort of. When I press a key on an external controller, the note plays and the midi note gets recorded like it should and does show up in the piano roll. However, when you press the sustain pedal to hold the note and you release the key, the note will still play while the sustain pedal is being press...

Re: Recording midi sustain pedal input problem

Thanks for the reply. Yes I am using 2.03. I didn't realize this was a previous issue but I don't think it's completely fixed. I have checked and rechecked all my settings and am stumped. I tried Nave, Nlog Pro and Animoog thru IAA midi tracks and with two different controllers as well as different ...

Recording midi sustain pedal input problem

My sustain pedal is working fine except when recording a midi track. As long as a key is being pressed on the keyboard it records. However if you press a key then the sustain pedal and release the key while the pedal is still being pressed, the note continues to play (as it should) but no longer get...

Re: Buffer size problem

I think i have figured out my problem. Its my interface. I recently acquired an interconnect audio 4+ and am finding out from their website forum that the device has some major issues with iOS 9. Pretty much of what I have been dealing with. The interface has a lot of potential but the software that...

Re: Buffer size problem

Tried it again at 96000 and Sunrizer went to 1024 this time and 512 at 48000. I am beginning to think it may be iOS 9.2.1 problems. Also when sending a track to a subgroup, sometimes you see the fader meters and sometimes not even after resetting the outputs in the matrix. Very buggy.

Re: Buffer size problem

Thanks for the reply. I tried what you suggested but still a no go. I then tried a different approach opening new projects with different sample rates and inserting Sunrizer synth in each. I found that when using 44100, Sunrizer loaded at 512 and at 48000 loaded at 128 and at 96000 loaded at 256. Re...

Buffer size problem

I have Auria set to a 256 buffer size and Sunrizer set the same when opened by itself, however when inserting Sunrizer in a midi track as an inst or an audio track as an fx insert it automatically reverts to 128 and cannot be changed and crackles and pops like crazy. By itself at 256 or higher it's ...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"

Love auria pro. Would like to see a midi learn function for at least the basic transport controls (start, stop, record etc.) in the mixer and maybe a program change. Lots of keyboard controllers still don't support Mackie controls.

Re: Drums XD crashes in auria pro

Ok, dummy here! I completely misspoke about the ports and channels having problems with external controllers on different tracks in auria. I FORGOT to change the midi out channels on the external controllers themselves. Duh! Anyway it all works now. Ext controller 1's output on channel 1, ext contro...

Re: Drums XD crashes in auria pro

After turning off the lighting effects in drums XD and selecting "multiple" in the settings menu in auria, no more crashes. I don't know exactly what it did but it works now. Still can't get auria to use different midi channels or ports for external midi keyboard controllers other than &qu...

Re: Drums XD crashes in auria pro

I don't think it's the interface. I have the clock set to usb 1. As I said everything works stand alone until it goes thru Auria pro. I am finding the new midi support in the program is still very buggy. I normally use Logic Pro X and am pretty good with it and it's midi environment. I went with aur...

Re: Using 2 keyboard controllers for seperate instruments

Yeah I don't either. In its midi infancy, it seems the program has controller routing and channeling issues in the midi instrument controls. i.e. It doesn't work.
