Sample rate issues with iPad Pro / iPadOS
Posted this over on the Audiobus forum on a topic related to Auria on iPadOS: My experience has been that Auria Pro on iPad Pro still has sample rate problems if you run at sample rates other than 48kHz. If I load an existing 44.1kHz project and run out either the external speakers or headphones thr...

Re: IAA Instruments gone
I just tried AUM and MTS Studio and both worked fine with both IAA generators and effects.

Re: IAA Instruments gone
I have the same issue, and I'm also running iOS 10, beta 6. Auria Pro, 2.05, iPad Air 2. I realize that running an IOS beta "voids my warranty," so to speak, but this a hobby for me, so I don't mind the risk. I assume this will eventually become an issue for many as we're getting close the...

Re: Help finding the FabFilter analyzer bug
I have a project that reliably crashes after about 2 minutes of playback which uses Pro-Q, though I haven't actually removed all instances of Pro-Q to see if it still crashes. It usually happens when adjusting EQ with the spectrum analyzer on, though it did just crash once (after about the same amou...

Re: Focusrite audio interfaces
I use a Scarlett 18i6 with Auria and it works great. I regularly hook it up to the ADAT outs from a Mackie TT24 mixer to get 8 additional inputs and it works perfectly, recording 16 channels of live performance at 48k. Just have to make sure the sample rate settings match on both devices. I think th...

Re: Audiobus / Auria
Rim, This is great news! The 1st change should make use of Auria with Audiobus much more convenient. Since this is the one case where Auria actually knows what the track should be called (since it's getting this info passed from Audiobos), can Auria [optionally] automatically name the tracks that it...

Re: Using Auria for Live Backing Tracks
One more thing... I found this review to be very thorough and helpful: http://mikeriversaudio.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/focusrite-scarlett-8i6-and-18i6-review_revised.pdf It covers the similarities and differences between the 8i6 and 18i6, with detailed measurements of preamp performance, latency,...

Re: Using Auria for Live Backing Tracks
I can't say for certain, since I don't actually have an 8i6, but I believe it shares the same brain as the 18i6 and should operate the same way. They both use the same MixControl software which allows you to configure "zero latency" mixes within the hardware, or configure it to take multip...

Re: Using Auria for Live Backing Tracks
Henry, Yes, I believe you can do exactly what you want with Auria and a Scarlett. I have a Scarlett 18i6 [which I love] and it can be configured to send DAW 1&2 to the monitor outs and DAW 3&4 to the headphone outs. Within Auria, you can then use Aux Sends to put out Aux Send 1 on outputs 1&...

Re: How does Auria perform on an iPad 4?
Just one more vote to say that the iPad4 is much better than the 2. I was compelled to upgrade a few weeks ago, primarily due to disappointment with audiobus (and auria, not yet on the bus then) on the iPad2, which would cough and wheeze a bit with the more CPU intensive synths -- I'm looking at you...

Re: Auria and audio bus
Rim, With regard to the Input Matrix, one small observation was that it was not obvious which Input channels belonged to which Audiobus channels. I had to pluck a few strings and bang a few keys to see which channels lit up, which was not a terribly big deal, but felt unnecessary. I thought the orde...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
Definitely agree with Marklee5 above above about the ability to hide unused subgroups. I'd like to either be able to select the number of subgroups (0,1,2,4,8) or perhaps just be able to add them like adding tracks, which would be a consistent user interface. In addition, I'd love to add the followi...
