File Management
Let your creation loose into the world.
iGOG features a Mixdown mode, which creates a .wav file of the sequence you've recorded. To use this feature, press the 'mixdown' button (located in the settings page), choose a name for the wav file, and press ok. A wav file is created and saved in the 'Mixdown' folder. You can access this folder from your computer by pressing 'File Transfer'.
File Transfer allows you to move files back and forth from iGOG and your computer. A WiFi connection is required to use this feature. To use File Transfer, select the file transfer tab, and follow the instructions there.
iGOG allows you to record drum parts in perfect sync to an mp3 file. To use this feature, press the 'Backing Track' button (located in the sequence page), and choose an mp3 file. Next, press the record button (on the main pad screen), and play along with the mp3 file. When you're finished recording, press play, and note the playing is in sync with the music. This feature can be especially useful if you're a musician, and you want to practice to a song you're working on. After you're done, you can export the midi file out of iGOG by pressing on 'midi file', and choosing 'Save midi file'.
